Change Management

You will explore a range of proven change models and concepts, including the Change Curve, Kotter’s Change Process and ADKAR Model. You will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to lead successful change initiatives in today’s dynamic business environment – looking at key elements such as resistance to change, leadership styles, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement. You will also consider the long-term impact of strategic change management on organisational culture and sustainable change initiatives, emerging as ready to inspire and guide others through the complexities of change with both confidence and clarity.

Whether you’re a seasoned leader or a budding entrepreneur, if you’re passionate about driving positive transformation and fostering a culture of adaptability, this course will allow you to immediately deliver value and impact, while touching on key leadership styles and frameworks relevant to leading through change.

Course Assessments

This course is assessed through an action learner log (worth 40% of your assessment) completed weekly and an assignment submitted after the end of the course (worth 60% of your assessment). The learner log contains reflections on the concepts learned. The final assignment is a case study essay of around 3,500 words.

Certification

Your UCD Professional Academy Diploma will be issued electronically on a secure platform, with a link that you can share with employers and others wishing to verify your credentials. You can also add this certificate to your LinkedIn profile.

Flexible Delivery Options

The course is available either online on demand or live online. Live Online delivery is part-time, over 12 weeks, with one three-hour session per week. Currently the course is only available on sessions from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. This would be suitable for busy professionals who have to complete the course out of normal working hours.

Admission Requirements

  • Learners must be 18 years or older.
  • Previous training, study and/or professional experience in a related field is recommended.
  • For non-native speakers of English, a language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 overall (or equivalent) is required.

Please note that all UCD Professional Academy courses are conducted in English. Prospective learners for whom English is not a native language are welcome to undertake Professional Academy courses. It is the responsibility of the learner that their proficiency in English is adequate for the course to participate and complete assignments successfully.
